Cicadula persimilis
Length 4 to 5 mm. Cicadula persimilis is a yellow-green leafhopper with four large black spots on the vertex, near the eyes. Dissection of males is required for definite identification.

Summer-Autumn.
Widespread in Britain. Common (ref.: UK Auchenorrhyncha checklist 2021 on British Bugs website)
Rarely recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
