Chrysolina staphylaea
Length about 9.5 mm. This is a mid brown coloured beetle.
Well vegetated areas, even deciduous woodland.
May to October.
In common with other members of the family it is a leaf feeding species.
Widespread but sometimes local in Britain.
Occasional in Leicestershire and Rutland. There were a total of 27 VC55 records for this species up to March 2015.
