Chorosoma schillingi
A very long and narrow straw-coloured bug, 14-16mm long, found in grasslands. It is usually brachypterous.
Some Mirid bugs found in grasslands are also very long and thin, but do not have ocelli or membraneous wings
Records should be accompanied by good photographs.

Locally common; mainlty southern and coastal distribution (ref. British Heteroptera checklist (2021) https://www.britishbugs.org.uk/systematic_het.html)
Uncommon; very few records for VC55.
