American Blue-eyed-grass - Sisyrinchium montanum
Sisyrinchium montanum has iris-like foliage. The star shaped blue flowers appear along the upright, unbranched stems that form spikes in Summer. Each flower only lasts a day, but new buds continue to open during the flowering season. It has erect pedicels in fruit.
