Amblytylus nasutus

Length ~ 4.5 mm.  Amblytylus species are greenish-yellow elongate oval bugs in which the head is rather long (almost as long as broad) and the eyes are small. The upper surface is densely covered in hairs. In A. nasutus these hairs are dark, as is the wing membrane.

Lopus decolor, Megalocoleus molliculus.

Dry grasslands and wasteland.

Adult: June-August

Widespread and fairly frequent in the southern half of Britain.

Probably under recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
