Aceria pseudoplatani

Description

Aceria pseudoplatani agg. are gall mites that cause galls to form on the leaves of Sycamore. The upper surface of the gall is usually distinct and yellowish, with or without a bulge; the underside is white or cream when fresh, browning with age. The gall is seen more frequently than the mite that causes it.
