Aceria labiatiflorae
The mite Aceria labiatiflorae galls Wild Origanum (Origanum vulgare). The flowers and leaves become matted with a felt of white hairs.
Other species (gall-midge Blastomyia origani and aphid Aphis origani) can cause shoot tips to thicken and bunch together, but the mite causes the leaves to be covered in white felted hairs
