Acalitus stenaspis
Acalitus stenaspis is a mite that causes a leaf roll gall to form on beech leaves. The gall is a tight upward marginal roll that extends along the leaf edge. This roll is lined with hairs and contains mites in summer. The galls are seen more often than the mite.

Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
Fairly frequent in Leicestershire and Rutland.
