Sciapus longulus

Description

3-4mm. Sciapus are slim and long-legged flies, most have a metallic green body. S. longulus has a metallic green abdomen, thorax and frons with little pale dusting. The face is shining silvery white. It has a fringe of long, pale setae on the underside of the front femora.
