Psathyrella fibrillosa
A small woodland fungus with a convex cap, variable in colour from brown to cream or ochraceous, and covered in whitish fibres and floccules. The gills are dark brown and the stem is pale brown or cream with whitish remains of the veil.
We recommend that this is verified by an expert before submission to NatureSpot; microscopic examination is needed. Also photograph from top down, in side view and underneath to show gills and full length of stipe; note habitat and substrate.
