Phoenicocoris obscurellus

Description

A small dark bug, c.3mm, covered in pale hairs, with a dark cuneus. It has long tibial spines not arising from dark spots; dusky tibiae; and long, slender gently curved tarsal claws. The 3rd segment of the hind tarsus is longer than the 1st and 2nd segments combined.

Similar Species

There are several other small dark bugs that coud be confused with this species - see Psallus and Plesiodema pinetella
