Mocydiopsis parvicauda

Description

A small deltocephaline leafhopper with rather pointed wing apices.  Whilst many specimens lack dark markings on the clavus, some may have a dark spot.  There are other dark markings on the forewings.

Similar Species

Mocydiopsis attenuata has a dark spot on the clavus. Mocydia crocea has more pointed wings.

VC55 Status

Rare; possibly overlooked or under-recorded.  The 2025 record from Nailstone is believed to be the first for VC55.
