Lophomma punctatum

Description

Length 1.8 to 2.8 mm. Prosoma dark brown to black-brown, punctured with numerous large pits, male with elevated head region. Legs light brown, to dark brown. Opisthosoma dark brown to black-brown.

Habitat

In litter and low vegetation in variety of wetland habitats.

Spring-Autumn.

UK Status

Widespread throughout most of Britain, local but often frequent in wetland habitats.

Uncommon in Leicestershire and Rutland.
