Trichoderma aureoviride
The fruit bodies consist initially of yellow, flattish cushion shaped stromata, with creamy undersides. As they mature, their surfaces become peppered with brownish green ostioles, through which the spores will be released. Stromata up to 5mm diameter.
They grow on decaying wood from deciduous trees, including Crack Willow, Grey Willow, Blackthorn, Beech and Sycamore, growing individually or in small numbers on the surface of the host.
They fruit from late spring until early winter.
