Abia fasciata
This is a Club-horned Sawfly. It is a very striking creature and looks superficially like a fly, but it has 4 wings.
Adults will forage on umbellifers such as Angelica
June to August
The larvae live on Honeysuckle, although possibly use Snowberry as well.
Uncommon with most British records coming from England and Wales
Uncommon in Leicestershire and Rutland.
