14 Spot ladybird - Propylea quattuordecimpunctata
A common yellow and black ladybird, though there is variation in the amount of each colour and the shape of the spots.
This species is relatively easy to identify and is unlikely to be confused with anything else. However photos are always helpful to confirm your record.
All habitats.
It is common on shrubs and is active from May to September.
Common in England and Wales at least.
Fairly common in Leicestershire and Rutland.
