Melieria omissa
Body length 7 or 8 mm. The wings are strongly patterned, but the abdomen is pale brown with no dark banding or markings.

Favours wet, or marshy places including fens and salt marshes.
Main flight period is from May to August. It can sometimes be attracted to light.
Most British records appear to come from the coastal areas of England and wales or from East Anglia.
Rarely recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
