This spectacular moth with a strange name, the Clifden Nonpareil, was recorded in Osbaston in 2025. It is also called the Blue Underwing for obvious reasons. It was first found in Britain in 1749 in 'Cliften' (the Clivedon estate) and given the French name 'nonpareil' which means without compare!
