Puccinia pseudosphaeria
This rust fungus causes leaf spots bearing uredinia and telia on Sow-thistles (Sonchus). The uredinia are surrounded by paraphyses. There is no host alternation. The leaves may be slightly deformed, but this is not a gall-causing species.
