Description

A small grey shallow cup fungus found on decaying wood, with a smooth pale grey to brownish-grey inner fertile surface, and a downy margin

Further Information

It is likely that Mollisia 'cinerea' is a part of a compelx of similar grey species - it may be best recorded as sensu lato or as a species aggregate.  See Laessoe & Petersen 2019 - who refer to the genus as 'poorly understood'.
