Pristiphora armata
This small sawfly has yellow legs which are blacker around the thighs; the wings have a dark stigma.
Hedgerows containing hawthorn.
May to July.
Larvae feed on hawthorn.
Scattered records from across England and Wales.
Status in Leicestershire and Rutland not known.
