Hydroptila tineoides
Forewing length 2.5 to 3 mm. The male front femora are covered with black hairs.
Stony streams and lakes.
May to September.
Widespread and fairly frequent in Britain.
Rare in our area. The Sapcote record of 22nd August 2012 is the first record for VC55 (Leicestershire and Rutland)
