The parish is located in the north of Leicestershire and has three villages: Long Clawson, Hose and Harby.

Small Copper Butterfly

This is just one of the Small Copper butterflies regularly recorded in the parish. A lovely, delicate butterfly which can be easily missed as it is very small! Look out for it in late summer when it basks in sunny spots on the ground.
