Harvest Mouse Survey
End time
Central Leicestershire site
The Harvest mouse is one of our smallest mammals in the UK. It spends most of its life off the ground climbing through vegetation where it also breeds and lives in woven nests. They are poorly recorded in our counties so we need more records to find out where they are. Join members of the Leicestershire & Rutland Mammal Group to find evidence of this elusive animal by searching for their abandoned nests and helping us collate information to send to the National Harvest Mice Survey run by the Mammal Society.
To book your place, please email landrmammals@gmail.com and you will be provided with details of where to meet.
Warm clothing and light waterproofs, wellingtons or sturdy boots will be required.
