Celebrating the 65 years History of Loughborough Naturalists Club, this free event with a Keynote Talk as the Peter Gamble Memorial Lecture will focus on the need for baseline recording in an ever-changing ecological climate It will provide an overview of local winners and losers over the last 60 years and some of the recent discoveries at Rutland Water as a result of increased focus, finally highlighting some of the new projects and acquisitions of LRWT across the two counties. 

The talk focusses on the need for baseline recording in an ever-changing ecological climate, an overview of local winners and losers over the last 60 years or so (to tie in with the anniversary), some of the recent discoveries at Rutland Water as a result of increased focus on baseline recording and will finish with some of the new projects and acquisitions of LRWT across the two counties (along with a 'call to arms' to help create some baselines for those sites).
