Water Vole Workshop

Learn how to search for and identify field signs and spot Water Voles along the canal.  We will also search for field signs of Otter, American Mink and Water Shrew.  This training will prepare people to take part in the national Water Vole survey this year to help in the conservation of this endangered species.

Meet at The Lime Kilns Pub Car Park, off the A5, Watling Street, Hinckley (What 3 Words and direction provided when you book). The survey will take place along the edge of the towpath but please wear stout boots or shoes and bring a walking stick or pole (to help part the vegetation more easily).
