Tinocallis takachihoensis
All adult Tinocallis takachihoensis viviparae are winged. These alates are pale yellow-green with a shiny black head and thorax. The pattern of black markings on the wings is diagnostic. The body length of Tinocallis takachihoensis alates is 1.8-2.0 mm. For more detail, please see the ‘Further info:’ link below.
Only Tinocallis platani has similar wing markings, but its body markings are quite different.

May be observed when the host Elm is in leaf.
First recorded in the wild in England in 2007, although it has also been found on imported Bonsai plants.
Rarely recorded in Leicestershire and Rutland.
