This is a spectacular beetle with a very long name! The 'long-horn' beetles get their name from their extremely long antennae, often longer than the body. The Golden-bloomed Grey Longhorn can be found on various plants usually in May and June. This one was photographed along the Grantham Canal in Barkestone.
