Bolyphantes luteolus
Length 3 to 5 mm. Prosoma brown. Opisthosoma yellowish brown, dorsally with irregularly arranged spots.
This species can only be confirmed by examination of the genitalia of mature specimens.
Grassland, heathland, moorland and wet flushes, beneath stones, amongst low vegetation or in bushes such as heather.
Adults mostly August to December.
Common in the north, but scarce in southern England except on high ground.
Limited to suitable habitat in Leicestershire and Rutland, mostly in the Charnwood area.
