Empingham Estate drive lies between the A606/Empingham and the A1. From the A1, exit onto Grantham Lane, and turn right onto Empingham Lane. The drive is opposite the Loves Lane turning.
From Empingham/the A606, drive northeast on Main Street until the post box, then turn left onto Loves Lane. Follow the lane until the crossroads, and the drive is opposite.
It may be possible to park by the drive, but please be mindful of traffic and private land. Some roadside parking is available in Empingham, approximately a 20-minute walk away.

Designated a Local Wildlife Site in 2011, Empingham Estate roadside verge is approximately 160 metres in length, both sides of the drive. The habitat is made up of calcareous and mixed grassland, and mown in September.
Recorded species include: Field Scabious, Small Scabious, Clustered Bellflower, Wild Basil, Salad Burnet, Hoary Plantain, Greater Knapweed, Common Bird’s-foot Trefoil, Cowslip, Red clover, Black Knapweed, and Ox-eye Daisy.
