North Luffenham is equidistant from both Rutland Water and the A47. The main road running through the village is either Edith Weston Road, or Main Road, depending from your angle of approach. The church is at the end of a pedestrian footpath beside the Little Saints pre-school, which can be accessed from a lane off Church Street opposite the bus stop.
From the north, take the right fork onto Pinfold Lane as you reach the village, and take the left-hand turning onto Church Street next to The Fox.
From the south, turn left at the crossroads as the enter the village onto Digby Drive, follow the road round to the right onto Chapel Lane, and then take the left fork onto Church Street.
Two bus services stop here - the 4R (CallConnect) and 12 (Centrebus) - but this depends on the direction of travel so be sure to check.

South of Rutland water and 5 miles east of Uppingham is the village of North Luffenham, separated from South Luffenham by the river Chater. The characterful church of St John the Baptist has some Norman fabric, but most of the building dates from the 13th and 14th centuries. The churchyard is large and open, with a few mature trees and bushes along the border, which it shares with the grand 16th century North Luffenham Hall.
