Tipula unca

Description

Head and thorax grey, the latter with darker stripes. Abdomen orange with a dark grey central stripe. Wings strongly mottled with white and some shaded markings. Femora pale orange with the rest of the legs darker. Male genitalia angled up from the abdomen at 75 degrees.

Wet habitats. Swamps, bogs and woodland ditches.
