Geophilus truncorum
Typically 12-14mm but can grow to 20mm. Pale yellow to pale brown with the head a little darker. Segments: 37-39 (males), 39-41 (females). The coxae of the last leg have two pores and there are claws on the last legs.
Schendyla nemorensis is similar but has no claws on the last legs.
Woodland in litter and under bark.
All year.
Common and widespread.
Common but under-recorded.
