Dr Kate Moore is an LROS Member and started bird ringing about ten years ago, both with local groups and also on various ringing expeditions in Europe and further afield. The cloud forest of Cusuco NP in Honduras is ranked one of the 50 most irreplaceable bio-diversity sites in the world. A team of biologists & students annually undertake a research expedition to Cusuco. Kate was fortunate to be part of the bird team in 2023. Her talk will describe some of her wildlife encounters with birds, snakes, moths, bats, and other species.
