Charnwood Local Group, LRWT presents, "Bringing a Boom to Middleton Lakes" by Kate Thorpe, RSPB Manager

Middleton Lakes is a mosaic of wetlands, meadows and woodlands in the heart of the River Tame Valley.  It was transformed from old gravel pits and Kate will give an overview of wildlife management at the RSPB reserve.  She will also talk about the Bittern conservation success story in the U.K. and at Middleton Lakes.

Admission £3 for adults, £3.50 for visitors and free for children
