The evolution of bats - Leicestershire and Rutland Bat Group
Memorial Hall, Dorothy Avenue, Glen Parva LE2 9JD
After a short AGM for the Leicestershire and Rutland Bat Group, Lisa Worledge from the Bat Conservation Trust will be giving a talk about the 'Evolution of Bats'. Fossils of bats from 52 million years ago have been found in Wyoming, USA and they have since evolved into around 1400 different species. We might get to find out what came first - flight or echolocation?
There will also be plenty of cake, biscuits and refreshments to enjoy.
Free to LRBG members, suggested £2.00 donation for non-members.
