Lit&Phil Natural History Section - Conserving the Unexpected Upland: An update on the Charnwood Forest Landscape Partnership Scheme - Julie Attard
Online via Zoom
Julie Attard is Charnwood Forest Programme Manager for The National Forest Company. The National Forest embraces 200 square miles of the Midlands, spanning Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire and aims to link the two ancient Forests of Charnwood and Needwood. With a history of coalmining and heavy industry, the landscape is now that of rolling farmland, ancient forests and new planted woodlands.
The Natural History Section is a registered charity with the aim of encouraging greater appreciation, understanding and enjoyment of natural history, particularly in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (VC55). All Natural History Section members will be sent details via email. We are funded by membership subscriptions but non-members are welcome to join us at these events - we would like to ask guests for a voluntary donation (£5 suggested amount) for this online session to help fund our objectives: https://www.peoplesfundraising.com/donation/leicester-natural-history-section
