Description

This site is privately owned but is being managed to enhance its wildlife value. The most easterly field is the most species-rich for wildflowers. All three fields have topographical diversity and damp areas, all of which helps to provide different microhabitats and support a range of plant and invertebrate species.

Wildlife Highlights

The small woodland at the southern tip comprises mainly English Oak, Beech, Silver Birch and Holly. Deadwood left in this area is helping to provide additional habitat. The wood also supports a good carpet of English Bluebells.
