This individual was found in the moth trap on 30th July and initial ID suggests Water Boatman but nearest body of water is Rothley Brook which is some way from my garden. Confirmation of species if possible would be appreciated.

Thanks Alan. As the specimen was not retained I assume that from the photos you cannot pin this one down to a specific species of Corixidae ? Do I just record on Naturespot as Corixidae sp.

Corixidae are difficult to identify.
